Home-Start Cambridge

Welcome to Home-Start Cambridge & District.

Home-Start is a voluntary organisation offering support to families with at least one child under five years of age, when family life becomes difficult.

We help you to deal with issues such as isolation, postnatal illness, multiple births, disability and bereavement.

We operate in the city of Cambridge.

The ethos of Home-Start Cambridge & District can best be described as ‘One parent helping another parent through a difficult time’.

Support Us

IT COSTS :
-£30 to support one family with a volunteer for one week.
-£100 to train a volunteer
-£250 to pay for a social event which we can invite all our families to.
-£5,000 for 15 families to receive group support for 1 year.
(these figures are averages)
Any donation, however small is gratefully received by us, and will contribute directly to making a big difference at local level to the families we support
